A belated happy birthday to Stephanie McMahon, who reached the big 4-0 on Saturday! Hard to believe that Stephanie has been appearing on WWE TV for 17 years now, beginning all the way back in 1999. Stephanie began as Vince's innocent daughter, but in less than a year, her good girl persona was shedded and she became a villainous vixen. Since 2013, Stephanie has portrayed an authoritative villainess, beginning with serving as the First Lady of the Authority, and currently appears as the villainous Raw Commissioner. The photo above is from Clash of Champions, and at the event, the evil Stephanie appeared during the Owens vs Rollins main event, choosing to instill a new referee (after the original one was taken out) when Kevin Owens was about to win. The expression says it all; Stephanie definitely was involved in Triple H turning against Rollins, and it should be revealed in due time.

Rebel is officially gone from TNA as of last week. It was in 2014 that Rebel (Tanea Brooks) debuted as the sexy centerpiece of The Menagerie, but after two of its members left TNA, she began competing in the Knockouts Division. Rebel became a villainess last summer when she joined the Dollhouse faction, which consisted of Jade and Marti Bell and was originally led by Taryn Terrell. Rebel's role lasted until April of this year, when the trio split up. Since then, the evil Rebel only appeared at this year's Knockouts Knockdown event; defeating Shelly Martinez. Rebel's departure came under a week after her 38th birthday.

It was announced months ago that Mickie James will appear at SHIMMER Weekend in November, a huge acquisition for the promotion. Mickie has continued to compete in various promotions even after her mainstream career ended last year, most recently appearing at Queens of Combat's WrestleCon event in April of this year. I do hope that Mickie makes a villainous appearance at SHIMMER, though I largely doubt it. Mickie rarely acted as a heel throughout her lengthy career, and (to my knowledge) the last time she portrayed a villainess was at Queens of Combat 3 nearly two years ago; turning villainous during her match against Tessa Blanchard, which she won.

Next Sunday, Melina will be back in action at Southside Wrestling, competing in the Queen of the Ring tournament. Melina's upcoming appearance is the latest in her wrestling comeback (though LL Cool J wouldn't call it a comeback), which began last year. It was in June 2015 that Melina appeared as a villainous enforcer at MCW's Ladies Night event, and she followed that with a one-night appearance at Lucha Underground in August. Melina's most recent in-ring performance was for STARDOM in mid-October, so her appearance for Southside Wrestling will come just a hair below a year since then. I'm still hoping for Melina to appear at either Queens of Combat or Shine Wrestling, as a villainess of course. Her feuding with Ivelisse would be golden! And with Mickie sometimes appearing at QoC, the evil Melina could appear and reignite their WWE rivalry.

A new week begins tonight with the fallout from Clash of Champions. Regarding the Knockouts, it's the final Impact before BFG, so things should definitely heat up between Maria and Gail.
