The big news from yesterday surrounded the release of Tough Enough winner Sara Lee. Sara Lee was the female winner of last year's competition, with current NXT star Mandy Rose as the runner up. Despite being known for her inability to stop smiling, Sara Lee surprisingly turned heel when she debuted for NXT in January; stating that she was done playing nice and wanted to win matches. She didn't compete much during her time in NXT, though I and many others were waiting for her to be promoted. The news of Sara Lee's release also came with some good news:  she is pregnant with her first child with boyfriend Wesley Blake.

What made Bound For Glory epic was the Hall of Fame induction for Gail Kim, which featured former KOs Christy Hemme, Taryn Terrell, and Awesome Kong returning to TNA for that evening to induct Gail. Taryn and Kong were Gail's two greatest rivals in TNA, while Christy began her decade long TNA run as a competitor before transitioning into a ring announcer. Christy even served as a ring announcer during the KO Title contest between Gail and Maria.

Happy birthday to former WWE Women's Champion Candice Michelle, who turned 38 this past Friday! Candice's WWE career began as part of the Diva Search in 2004, and within a year, she became a villainess in her first angle as part of the Vince's Devils trio with Torrie Wilson and Victoria. Candice was pushed as an improving wrestler in 2007, leading to her Women's Championship victory. After losing the title to Beth Phoenix, Candice fractured her clavicle during a title rematch, and had been plagued with injuries up to her release in 2009. Candice appeared on WWE Network's Table For 3 in 2016 with Molly Holly and Michelle McCool; an appearance she filmed in Dallas during WrestleMania Weekend. I would love to see Candice back in wrestling just once, especially in her role as a seductive villainess.

I have to post this screen capture of Reby Sky at Bound For Glory last night. Before taking her place alongside the Hardys, Reby performed a version of the Hardys current theme on a piano in front of the crowd in attendance, an absolutely epic moment. This came after Reby's first singles match on the main Impact Wrestling program, so it was a terrific week for the First Lady of the Hardy brand. Though she is a babyface once again, Reby still has the look of a villainess, especially with her darker look in recent weeks. I hope to see Reby compete more often, maybe pursue the Knockouts Championship. It would also be epic if Reby returns to Shine Wrestling or Queens of Combat, preferably as a villainess.

A new week begins tonight, with Charlotte and Sasha Banks competing for the Knockouts Championship! As for the Knockouts, it's the fallout from BFG!
