I won't be capping for a while, folks - my desktop-receiver passed away - no digital reception crying

I can live without capping, but not viewing!!! No Bloomberg, no France 24, no CNBC, etc.... plain

But then yesterday evening I remembered Streaming grin -  I hooked up Bloomberg  to get an eyeful of a wonderful  Lisa in Street Smart  heart. Then Aude LeChrist on France 24 angel....

So why you don't you get a new receiver you ask...on Saturday my electric stove died on me - that has priority - I like at least one hot meal per day.

I'm wondering what's going to happen next...

I stumbled upon this story after watching a something on the news this morning. I know U follow this kind of stuff, so I was just wondering if U heard about it, or think its possible. I wouldnt be surprised if it's true, although it would be a little troubling. For one, spending mountains of money on something that is useless, and second, that we are basically defenseless in air to air combat.

Disturbing - I've read a few negative reports about the F-35 - a complex issue - we give them, (Chinese & Russians), Westen technology and they incorporate in their designs. We are hampered by Congress, Budget restraints and the unforgivable practice of our politicians and media to betray our secrets.

We have the technology advantage but can't seem to put it into practice behind closed-doors - a bummer.

We do however have the advantage of more combat experience - and that is a huge advantage!

Airbus & Boeing to a lesser extent are teaching the Chinese to build a better airliner.

The A400M, A380, 787, & now the F-35. Modern aircraft programs are running more than 2 years behind their schedules & maasively over budget. The A350 is a year behind & at least 100 of millions over budget. Manufactures need to figure something better out.
